2T6821 Dizzy Tone
The 2T6821 Dizzy Tone by Tsomokos Audio is a meticulously crafted, limited-edition boutique fuzz pedal handmade in Greece by master builder George Tsomokos. It is a faithful recreation of the legendary Elka Dizzy Tone from the late 1960s, a circuit closely related to the Baldwin-Burns Buzzaround. This all-analog pedal is specifically engineered to deliver the aggressive, saturated, and "gated" fuzz tones characteristic of the 1960s psychedelic era. At its core, the pedal utilizes rare, new old stock (NOS) 2T6821 germanium transistors and military-grade paper-in-wax capacitors to ensure authentic vintage warmth and harmonic richness. It features point-to-point hand-wired construction for optimal signal integrity, housed in a custom-made stainless steel enclosure with a durable electrostatic powder coating. The control layout includes Sustain, Attack, and Balance, allowing musicians to sculpt everything from fat, singing leads to textured, gated fuzz. It also features true bypass switching and a built-in polarity protection circuit.
