APH-12
The Asheville Music Tools APH-12 is a 12-stage analog phaser that expands beyond classic phaser sounds, offering versatile modulation and filter effects. It features multiple stage modes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 12 stages) and includes a dedicated Drive knob for warm overdrive. The design utilizes temperature-stabilized circuitry and a high-voltage bi-polar double regulated power supply, ensuring high headroom and low noise in studio or stage settings. The pedal provides three modulation modes: a Slow LFO for classic phasing, a Fast LFO that reaches up to 78Hz for vibrato and ring modulation sounds, and an Envelope Follower mode that modulates the phase based on playing dynamics. The LFO rate offers sweeps up to two minutes long, and the unique inclusion of low stage counts and out-of-phase odd stages allows for vocal and experimental filter sounds rarely found in other phasers.
