Assblaster KSV-100
The Metasonix KV-100, widely known as the "Assblaster," is a deviant, tube-based multi-effect system designed for extreme audio processing and unique sound degradation. Utilizing five new-old-stock vacuum tubes, this unit combines the core circuits of several classic Metasonix modules. It features the preamp from the TM-7 "Scrotum Smasher," the waveshaping (pulser) and ring modulation from the TM-1, and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from the TM-3. Additionally, it includes an all-new wide-sweeping bandpass filter with an envelope filter function, an envelope follower, and a built-in noise gate. Its eight knobs allow for a vast range of unpredictable and warm distortion, fuzzy walls of sound, and unique, synth-like textures. The Assblaster accepts guitar, line-level sources, and is fully compatible with modular synthesizers, making it a powerful and unconventional tool for sound designers and guitarists alike.
