AT Andy Timmons Drive V2
The JHS AT Drive V2 is the signature overdrive and distortion pedal of guitarist Andy Timmons, created in collaboration with JHS Pedals by modifying the popular Angry Charlie "British amp-in-a-box" circuit. It is engineered to capture Andy's distinct, soaring lead and rhythm tone, effectively delivering the sound of a cranked Marshall-style amplifier through any clean platform. The V2 version, also known as the AT+, features two independent channels: the main drive and an integrated boost. The drive channel includes Volume, EQ, Drive, and an "Air" control for fine-tuning high frequencies like a presence knob. A unique 3-way Headroom switch allows users to select between the feel and response of 25-, 50-, and 100-watt amplifiers, offering varying levels of compression and saturation. The independent pre-boost circuit can be used to slam the drive channel for extra gain, definition, and harmonically rich sustain, or used separately to push other pedals or an amplifier's front end.
