The Beetronics BeeBeeDee Analog Delay is a highly creative pedal that combines the warmth of an analog signal path with the flexibility of a modern digital control system. At its core, the pedal utilizes two bucket brigade chips to deliver rich, musical repeats with unmistakable analog character. Beyond classic BBD tones, the BeeBeeDee features three distinct delay modes for expansive sound design. The Classic Mode provides smooth, familiar, and timeless delay with sine-wave modulation. Lo-Fi Mode pushes the tone into stranger territory, offering darker, grittier repeats with irregular modulation that shifts both delay time and tone. Finally, Pitch Mode transforms the echoes into a musical instrument, using softened square-wave modulation to rhythmically shift pitch and create harmonies. The pedal also features tap tempo functionality and allows you to double the delay speed or shift the feedback line up or down one octave, making it a powerful tool for both vintage and experimental sounds.
