TODP Tube OverDrive Pro
The Brelliott TODP (Tube Overdrive Distortion Plus) Pro-Modular is an expansive, tube-driven effects pedal, often described as a versatile toolkit for overdrive and distortion. It features a simple drive circuit that feeds into a core distortion circuit inspired by the "Distortion +," and then through a low-voltage pentode valve stage and a recovery amplifier. The pedal offers deep customization via multiple switches and controls. These options include pre-EQ bass cut, a clipping selector allowing for germanium, silicon, or LED diodes, and variations on anti-blocking diodes on the tube. It also features a load/symmetry control and a recovery EQ with bass boost options. This modular design allows it to produce a wide range of tones, excelling at exceptional Marshall-style and Dumble-style textures that are vibrant, lively, and cover an expansive gain range. The pedal operates on 9V DC and features true bypass switching.
