The British-Classic Overdrive by PedalTank is a boutique guitar effects pedal handcrafted in Thailand, designed to emulate the iconic crunch and bright tones of classic Marshall amplifiers. Part of the Mosfet Edition Series, this pedal is specifically engineered to deliver a vintage overdrive that responds exceptionally well to both single-coil and humbucker pickups. It is particularly well-suited for British rock and blues-rock styles, offering a "fat" character ideal for Eric Clapton-inspired lead lines or strumming chords at low gain. A key technical feature is the integrated toggle switch, which allows players to select between silicon diode clipping for a more compressed feel or MOSFET clipping for increased dynamic headroom and a grittier texture. The pedal features an intuitive three-knob interface for Drive, Tone, and Level. Built for professional use, it includes a true bypass circuit to preserve signal integrity and supports a wide supply voltage range from 9V to 18V DC for enhanced tonal dynamics.
