Sky Snake Hawk Attack Chorus
The Browne Amplification SSHAC, or "Sky Snake Hawk Attack Chorus," is an analog bucket brigade chorus and vibrato pedal. It was designed to achieve a classic, rich, and warm modulation. The pedal features fully analog bucket brigade circuitry and offers stereo capability using the "DRY" output for varied width effects. The "BLEND" knob allows users to mix the dry and modulated signal, transitioning from subtle chorus effects to pure vibrato when turned fully counter-clockwise (no dry signal). The "DEPTH" control adjusts the intensity of the pitch modulation, while "SPEED" dictates the rate, which is visible via a rate LED. Operating at 9V ONLY, the SSHAC has a low power draw (less than 75mA, around 50mA) and utilizes soft switching. As a fully analog bucket brigade design, running it closer to pure vibrato will result in a subtle roll-off and warming of the top end. Dimensions are 4.8” x 2.64” x 1.6” (2.3” with knobs).
