The Luck Duck Pedals Comrade Duck is a limited edition fuzz pedal that offers a distinct and raw sonic character. It utilizes a somewhat unusual silicon-germanium hybrid circuit, which is based on the highly regarded Electra distortion. The pedal’s key feature is its use of asymmetric clipping, an intentional design choice meant to accurately emulate the raunchy, saturated breakup found in overdriven power tubes. The Comrade Duck is notably brighter and more aggressive than the brand's standard overdrive, boasting a complex, thick sound that truly shines on single-note lead guitar work. A dedicated bright switch is included to further dial in the tone.
