The Cosmodio Instruments Pet Yeti is an analog distortion and fuzz pedal designed to provide precise control over a powerful and versatile range of high-gain tones. It can generate sounds from almost clean boost and gritty overdrive to wild, blown-out distortion and bizarre, glitchy sagging madness, earning it a reputation as a monstrous force. Its versatility comes from an extra-wide gain range with selectable gain strength and a VOICE switch that offers three distinct flavors of the effect, each featuring different clipping stages (including op-amp, germanium, and silicon clipping). A key feature is the all-analog BIT crusher that smashes the signal into a full-on square wave for extreme hard clipping. The pedal is omnivorous, making it ideal for processing not only guitars but also bass, drum machines, and synthesizers. The independent LEVEL and CLEAN knobs allow players to blend the clean, unaffected signal with the distortion, ensuring clarity and body are retained alongside the searing effect.
