While Chris Custom produces several pedals in the "Dr." series, the Dr.Fuzz is known to be based on the legendary Tone Bender Mark I from 1965, a circuit made famous by artists such as Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck. This pedal is meticulously hand-wired using the original circuit topology, which includes a carefully selected set of rare germanium transistors and Soviet-era capacitors to deliver an authentic, magical vintage fuzz tone.
