DT-SS
The Ken Multi DT-SS Distortion is an extremely rare, vintage guitar effects pedal manufactured in Japan during the 1990s as part of the limited Skeleton series. This boutique-style pedal is highly collectible due to its unique aesthetic, featuring a translucent or see-through enclosure. A defining technical feature is the internal LED that illuminates the entire casing when the effect is engaged, creating a striking visual presence on a pedalboard. Beyond its visual appeal, the DT-SS is part of a specialized set of three pedals, each with a different colored clear enclosure. Technically, the circuit is based on the Aria ADT-1, a design shared with other brands like Sound Lab and Monarch. It is known for producing intense distortion tones and typically includes a 3-band EQ for precise frequency shaping. Due to its limited production run and cult following, it is considered a "holy grail" for collectors of vintage Japanese gear.
