The Shin's Music DUMBLOID OVERDRIVE SPECIAL (ODS) is a boutique, hand-wired pedal meticulously crafted to capture the elusive, touch-sensitive tones of the legendary Dumble Overdrive Special amplifier. Esteemed for its "next level" sweet overdrive and impeccably clean, transparent boost, it delivers an authentic Dumble-like experience with exceptional dynamics. The ODS version provides an extended gain and low-end range, often compared to a hot-rodded Marshall HRM. It features a control set including Drive, Accent (Cut/Presence), Tone, and Volume, plus a crucial "Jazz/Rock" mini-toggle switch. The Jazz mode offers full, woody, round tones, while the Rock mode provides more mid-focused, searing characteristics. Its artisanal design and circuit, often covered in epoxy "goop," ensure a robust, high-quality build.
