The ENGL EP635 Fireball IR Pedal is a dual-channel preamp and distortion unit designed to deliver the authentic, high-gain aggression and clarity of the renowned ENGL Fireball amplifier in a compact stompbox format. It offers professional, crushing distortion tones for guitarists. Key to its versatility, the pedal features a switchable Mid Boost function for cutting through the mix and a built-in Noise Gate with adjustable threshold to manage high-gain artifacts. As an IR pedal, it includes an integrated Impulse Response loader via USB-C, allowing users to upload cabinet simulations for direct recording or running into a PA system. It also features a dedicated headphone output for silent practice. Controls include Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence, ensuring precise tonal shaping across its channels.
