Finally V3
The Finally v3 by Sushi Box FX is a professional-grade, high-voltage tube direct box and preamp developed in collaboration with Philip Mann of With Bass In Mind. Designed primarily for bassists, it features a 12AU7 vacuum tube running at high voltage to provide authentic tube warmth, character, and saturation. The Gain control allows users to dial in anything from clean, transparent tones to smooth tube overdrive. The v3 update introduces a variable-frequency high-pass filter (HPF) that offers a -12dB/octave rolloff starting at 30Hz, with an additional variable -12dB/octave between 30Hz and 120Hz. Technical highlights include an independent 1/4-inch output with a high-voltage buffer and a custom-made Unagi Magnetics E4305 DI transformer, which ensures a flat frequency response down to 10Hz. Housed in a compact enclosure, the Finally v3 requires a 9-12VDC power supply (500mA) and features a balanced XLR output with dedicated volume control and ground lift functionality.
