The Guyatone FL3 Micro Series Flanger is a compact, professional-grade analog effects pedal manufactured in Japan. Renowned for its small footprint and lush, vintage-inspired tones, the FL3 is built around the rare, now-discontinued Panasonic MN3207 analog bucket-brigade device (BBD) chip. This specialized circuitry allows the pedal to deliver the warmth and organic character of original tape flanging without the need for bulky equipment. A standout technical feature of the FL3 is its unique asymmetrical sweep pattern. Unlike standard flangers with a linear cycle, the FL3’s sweep rises slowly to the peak and falls quickly, providing a more "human" and musical modulation often described as a "whiplash" effect. The interface is intuitive, featuring Rate and Depth knobs alongside a three-way Resonance toggle switch.
