The Flower Pedals Hosta V2 Wah Filter is a sophisticated effects pedal that utilizes a hybrid analog/digital architecture, providing the organic tone of a classic analog wah circuit with modern digital control. The analog core is based on a well-known wah design and includes a genuine red fasel inductor. The V2 model offers three distinct operating modes: Auto (LFO-controlled wah), Fixed (for a 'cocked wah' sound), and Envelope (wah controlled by the instrument's playing dynamics). Core analog controls include Level, Frequency (center of the wah range), Depth, and Q (filter intensity), which can verge on self-oscillation when turned up. Enhanced V2 features include MIDI integration and the ability to save and recall six presets using the onboard footswitches. The expanded control set allows for unique filter and modulation possibilities, making it a highly versatile tool for live performance and experimental sound design. It operates on 9-18V and draws less than 150mA.
