The Fortin Meshuggah Preamp/Distortion pedal is a groundbreaking high-gain unit developed in collaboration with the band Meshuggah, designed to replicate the aggressive, tight, and percussive modern metal guitar tones of their highly limited custom amplifiers. Often described as the closest players can get to the band’s signature sound in pedal form, it functions as a true preamp. The pedal features active circuitry for precise control over the Mid and Treble frequencies, and a Master Volume Control (MVC) for overall output. A LO/HI toggle allows switching between lower gain (classic rock) and high gain (fire breathing monster) settings.
