The Intensive Care Audio Death Muff Gain Overload Fuzz is a high-gain fuzz pedal designed to offer intense, saturated, and articulate fuzz tones while maintaining clarity. Based on a modified Big Muff circuit, the pedal features an internal voltage doubler, boosting the circuit to 18V for increased headroom, volume, and tightness, resulting in a more crushing, modern sound compared to classic Muff variants. The pedal includes four core controls: Volume, Tone (a versatile EQ stack), Gain (controlling the fuzz intensity), and a dedicated Mids control that allows users to scoop or boost the midrange frequencies. This flexibility ensures the pedal can cut through a mix or sit comfortably within dense arrangements.
