Capo
The Jad Freer Audio Capo is a versatile, pedalboard-friendly "studio-in-a-box" effects unit, functioning as a multiple preamp. It packs four distinct preamps into a single enclosure, capable of producing a wide spectrum of tones, ranging from crystal-clean, studio-grade sounds up to heavy saturations and diverse overdrive flavors. It is engineered for amp-like dynamics and complex harmonic content. The Capo features extensive tone-sculpting capabilities, including an active three-band EQ with: a BASS control (±12dB@80Hz, shelving), a semi-parametric MID control (±9dB@100Hz-10KHz, band pass), and a HIGH control (±12dB@4KHz, shelving). Additional DEEP and BITE switches allow for a tailored low-end boost and string attack enhancement. It is designed to be the central "engine" of a musician's pedalboard.
