The Lollar Overdrive is a limited-edition marvel, a collaborative creation between the renowned pickup wizards at Lollar and the Japanese pedal artisans at KGR Harmony Effects. Housed in a stunning cast-iron enclosure forged using the ancient nambu-tekki technique, this pedal blends traditional craftsmanship with modern electronics to deliver a truly unique overdrive experience. Only 100 of these beauties were ever produced, each one a testament to the skilled hands that brought it to life. The nambu-tekki process, native to Japan's Iwate prefecture, is renowned for its unparalleled durability and captivating aesthetic, lending the Lollar Overdrive a sense of timeless elegance that sets it apart from the crowd. But this pedal is more than just a pretty face – its sonic capabilities are equally impressive. Developed after KGR's Keijiro Fukushima visited the Lollar workshop, the Overdrive was designed to seamlessly complement the tonal character of Lollar pickups, while remaining versatile enough to excel with any guitar configuration, from single-coils to humbuckers and even bass pickups. With its active three-band EQ and precise Gain and Volume controls, the Lollar Overdrive offers an extensive range of tonal possibilities, from light, organic breakup to thick, saturated sustain. The circuit maintains exceptional clarity and responsiveness, allowing your guitar's unique voice to shine through, no matter the setting. Sadly, the Lollar Overdrive is no longer in production, having sold out shortly after its release.
