The Meris Enzo X Polyphonic Synth / Multi-FX / Sound Designer is an advanced digital instrument synthesizer pedal with an analog signal path, designed for expansive tonal exploration. This multi-voice stereo synthesizer evolves the original Enzo with enhanced features, functioning both as a desktop synth module and a guitar synth pedal. It features a powerful 6-voice polyphonic architecture, with each voice containing two oscillators, a filter, and envelopes. The pedal offers five onboard synth modes, including mono, polyphonic, and dry processing, and is playable via instrument input or MIDI keyboard. Beyond synthesis, the Enzo X integrates a wide range of multiple effects, including three reverbs (adapted from Mercury X), a full stereo 2.5-second delay, five drives (Tube, Op Amp, Transistor, Bit Crush, Volume Pedal), and five modulation types (Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Vibrato, Ring Mod). Tone shaping is managed via a deep modifier screen. It includes 99 preset locations, MIDI I/O, USB-C for firmware, and expression pedal connectivity, making it a versatile tool for sound design and live performance.
