The Pasta Pedals FrankenSTEEN Fuzz is a highly-regarded effects pedal that is Pasta Pedals' custom take on the discontinued Dwarfcraft Devices Eau Claire Thunder. It is celebrated for its phenomenal sound and smart design, aiming to improve upon some of the common issues found in typical Muff-style fuzz boxes, notably the mid-scoop. The original Eau Claire Thunder circuit, on which the FrankenSTEEN is based, is known for delivering vintage-inspired, fuzzed-out tones. It typically features standard controls like Volume, Tone, and Distortion, along with extra toggles like a "Toneblast" switch for an instant mid-range punch and a "Timewarp" switch to transition between modern and stoner rock textures.
