The PastFX Gallstone is a faithful and enhanced recreation of the vintage EHX Small Stone V2 phaser, designed to retain the legendary analog sounds of the original while expanding its tonal capabilities. Built around a True Bypass Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTA) circuit, the Gallstone delivers a wonderfully warm and expansive phase-shifting effect. A key enhancement is the inclusion of a 2/4 stage phase pushbutton switch, allowing players to select between the stock 4-stage phasing and a unique 2-stage mode for different modulation textures. Unlike the original, the Gallstone features dedicated controls for Mix, Feedback, and Rate, plus a Level control to correct the volume drop often associated with the vintage V2 Small Stone. This makes the Gallstone a versatile and quiet phaser, suitable for players seeking classic analog swirl with modern performance features.
