MGAT-5 SRAA
The Sinvertek MGAT-5 SRAA (Real Amp Abstraction) is a high-end preamp and overdrive pedal developed over a decade to capture the complex circuit and sound of the legendary Soldano SLO-100 (Super Lead Overdrive) tube amplifier. It is considered the ultimate version of its series, representing the highest level of Sinvertek products. Unlike standard pedals, the MGAT-5 is engineered to mimic the dynamic behavior of a tube amp’s power section, often running at high internal voltages (up to 30V) to deliver an authentic "amp in a box" experience. This analog device offers five distinct modes, ranging from clean boost and vintage crunch to savage, aggressive high-gain distortion, making it versatile for various musical styles. It is praised for its clarity, massive sustain, and ability to be used as an abstract real amp, a preamp connected directly to a power amp or FX loop return, or a distortion/crunch pedal on a clean channel.
