The SoundLad Liverpool Hungry Beaver MK2 Multi-Muff is a highly versatile, boutique fuzz pedal that evolves the classic Electro-Harmonix Big Muff circuit. It features two switchable, iconic voicings: the "Violet Ram’s Head" era, known for its scooped mids and articulate clarity, and the "NYC 2000" era, which delivers a more aggressive, high-gain sound with a pronounced low end. Described as an exceptionally potent evolution of the Big Muff, the pedal adds enhanced control beyond the basic Volume, Gain, and Tone knobs. Key features include two gain controls, "GRAVY" (Mids Focused) and "MEAT" (Thick and Chunky), along with a Mids sweep control and a "Starve" function for harmonic octave effects. This construction offers a wide range of saturated, rich fuzz tones, from vintage-style clarity to modern, crushing aggression.
