Imperial Tube Preamp
The Tone King Imperial Preamp pedal is a two-channel, high-voltage tube preamp and direct-injection (DI) unit designed to deliver the authentic tube tones of the legendary Tone King Imperial MKII amplifier directly to a mixing board or audio interface. It operates with three 12AX7 preamp tubes running at proper high voltages. The pedal features two independent channels: a Rhythm Channel that captures classic Blackface-style cleans and a Lead Channel for Tweed-like overdrive. A key feature is the built-in "Zero Watt" power amp and phase inverter circuit, which adds to the realism of the tone. It also includes convolution spring reverb with Reverb and Dwell controls, as well as low-latency IR and power amp simulation technology. The preamp comes pre-loaded with 15 OwnHammer-made Impulse Responses (IRs) for versatile cab simulation options.
