The Holowan Photo Hammer is a handbuilt, boutique analog delay pedal, celebrated for its versatile and unique sonic characteristics. Although listed as Reverb, the pedal operates as a Delay, capable of producing everything from subtle slapback echoes to massive, cascading repeats that decay into a lush, low-fidelity feedback mess. The pedal's most unique feature is the 'Flash' function, which repeats a note or chord while increasing both its volume and distortion with each repeat, allowing for the creation of eccentric and otherworldly soundscapes. Control is managed via knobs for Volume, Intensity (Mix), Time, and Feedback.
