The Xotic AC Booster V2 is a versatile update to the original AC Booster, functioning as a high-quality dual-channel boost pedal. It is celebrated for retaining the original’s core warmth and dynamic response while offering expanded tonal functionality. The V2 introduces a footswitchable secondary gain boost stage, allowing users to easily access extra clean volume or saturated drive. It maintains the classic controls for Volume, Gain, Treble, and Bass, but significantly enhances tone shaping with four external DIP switches. These switches enable various modes for Classic/Modern tones, variable Compression, and adjustable Lo Mid and Hi Mid Boost frequencies. This improved versatility ensures the AC Booster V2 can serve as a fundamental, high-quality tone foundation, providing dynamic response and expanded control for a wide range of players.
